Overview The Board of Trustees of Whakatane High School invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for remediation works to Blocks B, G and H under the Ministry of Education 5YA programme. The works will be delivered under a Medium Works Contract. Scope The scope includes: Remediation works to Blocks B, G and H at Whakatane High School Associated demolition and removals Making good works Testing, commissioning and certification Cleaning and handover Asbestos removal works Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified to undertake remediation works under the Ministry of Education 5YA programme Asbestos removal works must be undertaken by appropriately qualified and accredited personnel Relevant experience delivering remediation and renewal works in operational school environments is encouraged Contract Terms and Conditions Works are scheduled to commence on 14 December 2026 Works must be completed by 29 January 2027 Delivered under a Medium Works Contract Information Requested Tenderers will be evaluated on methodology, capability, capacity, economic benefits and price.
