Overview The Board of Trustees of Whakatane High School invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for remediation works to multiple blocks under the Ministry of Education 5YA programme. Scope The following works will be delivered under a Medium Works Contract: 5YA (SP1 & SP2), Blocks A, M, KB, KC, KD, LA, LB, LC, LD, LF, TX, VG, and Site Remediation Works. The scope includes: Remediation and replacement works to the nominated blocks Associated demolition and removals Making good works Testing, commissioning, and certification Cleaning and handover of the remediation and replacement works Asbestos removal works Contractor Requirements Relevant experience delivering remediation works in operational school environments Contract Terms and Conditions Works are scheduled to commence on 07 December 2026 Works affecting teaching spaces and access to teaching spaces must be completed by 01 February 2027
