About this tender
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is leading the Tauriko West Transport Programme, a designated Road of National Significance (RoNS) aimed at supporting major residential and infrastructure growth in the Western Bay of Plenty. This Request for Tender invites suitable qualified Utilities Location companies to undertake utilities survey works to support the preliminary design for the planning and consenting of future transport infrastructure in the Tauriko West area. The survey will inform route protection activities for these key transport corridors, including: Designation and consenting of future alignments for SH29 and SH29A; Property acquisition planning; Preliminary design and early-stage engineering inputs; Utility relocation and corridor safeguarding to prevent development conflicts.
