This contract is for the provision of civil construction and commissioning services to supply and construct Ashburton District Councils planned programme for wastewater renewals. The Contract Works include (but are not necessarily limited to): Confirming locations of existing services in the vicinity of the works and setting out the location of new pipes and fittings. Supply and installation of 265m of new DN150 PVC-u SN16 pipework for gravity wastewater mains. Supply and installation of 860m of new DN225 PVC-u SN16 pipework for gravity wastewater mains. Supply and installation of 230m of new DN300 PVC-u SN16 pipework for gravity wastewater mains. Supply and installation of new manholes and drop structures. Removal and/or abandonment of existing pipework and appurtenances where specified. Connections into and modifications of, existing pipework, where required. Backfill, embedment and reinstatement, as required. Reconnection of existing pipes to new manholes, as required. Re-benching in existing manholes, as required. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection of existing wastewater mains and laterals. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection upon completion of new wastewater mains and laterals. Pipe hydrostatic or air testing. PVC-u compliance testing. Pipe ovality testing. Temporary pumping, bypass and disposal of existing wastewater. Dewatering and disposal of ground water, as required. Provision of as-built drawings.
