About this tender
Overview Hauora Māori Services, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, invites proposals from a suitably qualified Hauora Māori provider, or lead provider with agreed partners, to deliver a face-to-face Stop Smoking Service across the wider Wellington region, including Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa, from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2028. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of evidence-based behavioural support for stop smoking Support to access stop smoking medicines and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) Prioritisation of Māori, Pacific peoples, pregnant women and other priority populations Collaboration with health and community providers to strengthen referral pathways Improving access and engagement for people seeking to stop smoking Supporting people and whānau to stop smoking Contract Terms and Conditions Contract period: 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2028 Contractor Requirements Must be a suitably qualified Hauora Māori provider, or a lead provider with agreed partners Demonstrated experience and capability in delivering high-quality, culturally responsive and whānau-centred stop smoking services Strong local relationships within the Wellington region Ability to deliver an accessible service across the wider Wellington region Enquiries Vickie Turnbull, 027 532 5095 Arahina Roberts, arahina.roberts@tewhatuora.govt.nz
