About this tender
Overview Richmond Shire Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local businesses, organisations and community groups wishing to advertise on Council-owned billboard infrastructure located along key highway corridors within the Richmond Shire. Council has installed twelve (12) billboard structures to promote local businesses, services and economic development opportunities throughout the region. Sponsorship Opportunities Successful applicants will be granted a Licence to Occupy and Display Advertising on an allocated billboard in accordance with Council's Licence Agreement. Billboard Overview Council owns and maintains twelve (12) 3m x 6m billboard structures located along major transport routes within the Richmond Shire The billboard structures remain the property of Richmond Shire Council at all times Successful applicants will be allocated billboard advertising space and granted permission to install and display advertising skins or panels on the nominated billboard Licence Arrangement Licence Term: three (3) years Option to Renew: one additional three (3) year term at Council's discretion Licence Fee: $100.00 per billboard per month (GST inclusive) Payment Frequency: yearly in advance Council retains ownership of all billboard structures Council remains responsible for the maintenance of the billboard structures Licencees are responsible for the design, supply, installation and replacement of advertising skins or panels Eligibility The EOI is open to: Richmond Shire businesses Community organisations Sporting clubs Not-for-profit organisations Contractor Requirements Advertising material must: Promote a lawful business, organisation or activity Be of professional quality Be maintained in good condition Comply with all applicable laws and advertising standards Not contain offensive, defamatory, misleading or inappropriate content Council reserves the right to reject or require removal of advertising material that does not meet Council requirements.
