About this tender
Overview The City of Townsville is inviting artists to apply to exhibit as competitive artists in Strand Ephemera 2027. This iteration invites artists to celebrate Queensland's unique stories and transform them into bold, contemporary expressions, using art to spark imagination and wonder. Entries can comprise completed works, works in progress, or concepts. Funding Successful artists will receive an artist fee to assist with exhibiting their artwork: Open Artist competitive category: $5,000 AUD artist fee Young Artist competitive category: $500 AUD artist fee The following prizes are also available: $10,000 Artistic Excellence Award $1,000 Young Artistic Excellence Award $1,000 Environmental Advocate Award $1,000 People's Choice Award How to Apply Applicants should read the Terms and Conditions before applying, then click the Apply Now button to begin their application. Applications can be saved as they progress, and applicants may log in and log out at any time until the application is submitted. A non-refundable administration fee of $40 per entry is payable at the time of submission.
