Overview Diamantina Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for concrete works to be undertaken as part of a project Council is undertaking on the Eyre Developmental Road (Bedourie to Birdsville Road). Scope Separable Portion 1, Works Package A Removal and salvage of C01A, C02A, and C04A culverts to Lake Pit Stockpile Pad Construction of cast in-situ concrete bases for new culverts C03B, C05B, and C06A Collection, transport, and delivery of culvert units from stockpiles located approximately at least 20m from the edge of the road within 200m of each site Installation of concrete box culvert components: C03B (4/1200x750 RCBC), C05B (4/1200x750 RCBC), and C06A (2/1200x750 RCBC) Backfill completed with stabilised sand Construction of new in-situ end structures and aprons for C03B, C05B, and C06A culverts in accordance with DTMR standard drawings Supply and installation of geotextile as per Part 6, Pricing Schedule J Separable Portion 2, Works Package B Construction of concrete margins (200 x 300 mm Edge Restraints on both sides) Construction of concrete batters (as per Part 6, Pricing Schedule J) Supply and placement of rock protection (D50=200, 0.5m depth as per Part 6, Pricing Schedule J) Separable Portion 3, Works Package C Excavations required for installation of culverts Construction of cast in-situ concrete bases for new culverts Collection, transport, and delivery of culvert units from stockpiles located approximately at least 20m from the edge of the road within 200m of each site Installation of concrete box culvert components: C01A (4/1200x600 RCBC), C02A (4/1200x600 RCBC), C03A (4/1200x600 RCBC), C04A (4/1200x750 RCBC), C05A (4/1200x600 RCBC), and C06A (4/1200x750 RCBC) Backfill completed with stabilised sand Concrete bases in culverts End structures to culverts, reinforced concrete Aprons to culverts, reinforced concrete, including cutoff-walls Construction of concrete margins (200 x 300 mm Edge Restraints, 200 x 300 mm TCS B) Separable Portion 4, Works Package D Removal or demolition of culvert end structures D09A and D10A Excavations required for installation of culverts Construction of cast in-situ concrete bases for new culverts Collection, transport, and delivery of culvert units from stockpiles located approximately at least 20m from the edge of the road within 200m of each site Installation of concrete box culvert components: D01A (4/1200x600 RCBC), D02A (4/1200x600 RCBC), D03A (4/1200x600 RCBC), D04A (4/1200x600 RCBC), D05A (4/1200x750 RCBC), D06A (4/1200x600 RCBC), D07A (4/1200x600 RCBC), and D08A (4/1200x600 RCBC) Backfill completed with stabilised sand Concrete bases in culverts D01A to D08A End structures to culverts, reinforced concrete, D01A to D08A End structures to culverts, reinforced concrete, D09A (11/2700x900 SLBC) and D10A (6/1200x600 RCBC) Aprons to culverts, reinforced concrete, including cutoff-walls, D01A to D08A Aprons to culverts, reinforced concrete, including cutoff-walls, D09A (11/2700x900 SLBC) and D10A (6/1200x600 RCBC) Concrete margins (Edge Restraints 200x300, TCS B) Concrete batters (Batter Protection, TCS C) Rock protection (D50=200, 0.5m depth) Scope of Work for the Principal For the duration of the contract, the Principal's scope of work includes but is not limited to: Provision of traffic management for the project site, including construction and maintenance of side track Construction of all formation and unbound pavement works Supply of new box culvert units to a stockpile located approximately 20m from the road edge and within 200m of the site culvert installation site where possible
