This work package relates to the appointment of a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) category partner to support Brisbane 2032 through a commercial partnership arrangement. The appointed partner will pay a partnership fee to Brisbane 2032 and in return will have the opportunity to activate their brand through agreed marketing, promotional and engagement initiatives aligned to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The package does not include the supply of any services, including food services, catering operations, or venue-based delivery. Scope of Partnership Partners will play a pivotal role in the success of Brisbane 2032 and the Games through their investment in a Brisbane 2032 partnership. Some Partnerships may be funded through a combination of cash sponsorship and value-in-kind (VIK) contributions. However, for the Quick Service Restaurant category, the partnership requires a cash sponsorship and there is no VIK available. The investment that partners will provide through their partnership are critical to the delivery of a successful Games. This will allow partners to amplify and tell that story to the market, confirming their status as a critical supporter of the Games, Queensland and Australia. The Games presents one of the biggest opportunities for the eyes of the world to turn to Australia and this partnership is the opportunity for your organisation to play a role in supporting that moment. Partnership Rights and Benefits Partners may benefit from a range of rights and benefits that are made available exclusively to Brisbane 2032 partners. A more detailed outline of the rights and benefits will be provided if respondents are invited to participate in further engagement. The rights outlined are indicative only and are based on a Tier Two partnership with Brisbane 2032, which is the tier of partnership Brisbane 2032 anticipates for this category. Brisbane 2032 Quick Service Restaurant Partner For the Quick Service Restaurant Category, Brisbane 2032 requires partnerships to be funded based on cash and not VIK. Further to that, there may be other activities that a successful Quick Service Restaurant partner would do as part of the partnership – for example restaurant in the village or in other Games venues. However, those would not constitute VIK as they are marketing activations funded by the partner, not operational requirements needed to stage the Games. Brisbane 2032 is seeking a Quick Service Restaurant partner who was a large national presence, with a high-number of restaurant outlets throughout the country and those have the ability to make significant cash investments to Brisbane 2032 and who typically generate annual revenue of $100m+. This opportunity is not directed at smaller, independent restaurant operators who are unable to make such partnership investments. Partnership Structure: Tiers and Exclusivity Brisbane 2032 is seeking Respondents to submit expression of interest on the basis of an exclusive partnership within the Quick Service Restaurants category (“Individual Proposal”). Following evaluation, Brisbane 2032 may invite selected Respondents to participate in a further engagement or commercial discussion process. Brisbane 2032 reserves the right to adjust the model based on such responses and discussions with Respondents.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
