MAH Cleaning and Maintenance Expression of Interest (EOI) – Queensland residential housing locations
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview Mission Australia Housing (MAH) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced service providers capable of delivering cleaning and maintenance services across residential housing locations in Queensland. Potential service locations may include Toowoomba and Southport, with other suburbs or properties identified as MAH's requirements develop. Purpose This Expression of Interest is a preliminary market-sounding process only. MAH is not seeking binding offers or pricing at this stage. MAH may subsequently conduct separate competitive tenders or other procurement processes for individual sites or service packages. For Toowoomba, some contracts will be entered into directly by MAHQT, with MAH assisting in procuring the contractor. This EOI is an invitation to provide information only. It is not an offer, request for a binding offer, request for quotation or request for tender. Neither this EOI, a response to it, MAH's receipt or consideration of a response, any communication with a respondent, nor any shortlisting creates a contract, process contract, promise, representation or undertaking that MAH will conduct a tender, shortlist any respondent, negotiate with any respondent or award any contract. No contract for the services will arise unless and until a definitive written agreement is executed by MAH and the selected service provider. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no respondent is entitled to compensation arising from this EOI process or MAH's exercise of its rights under it. Scope This EOI does not include a final scope of works. The indicative service areas below are provided to give respondents a general indication of the types of cleaning and maintenance services that may be required if MAH proceeds to a later procurement stage. Final service inclusions, frequencies, asset responsibilities, site schedules, access arrangements and work-order requirements will be confirmed through a subsequent procurement process and contract documentation. The indicative service areas include: Cleaning and maintenance of shared and common areas Cleaning and maintenance of resident-facing spaces Cleaning and maintenance of office facilities Cleaning and maintenance of building circulation areas and lifts Cleaning and maintenance of waste and bin areas Cleaning and maintenance of external areas and landscaping interfaces Maintenance of building assets and systems allocated to the appointed provider Where a site is within a defects liability period (DLP), the provider may be required to maintain service continuity, identify and record potential defects, make affected areas safe where necessary and notify MAH. The provider must not undertake work that may prejudice a warranty or transfer a builder responsibility to MAH without prior written approval, except where urgent action is required to protect people or property. Following any applicable DLP, maintenance services will continue only within the scope and work-order arrangements set out in the relevant site-specific contract. This assessment is for preliminary market sounding and shortlisting purposes only and is not a tender evaluation or contract award process. MAH may apply, vary or decline to apply these considerations in its discretion, subject to applicable law and MAH's procurement requirements.
