Overview Rio Tinto Limited is seeking expressions of interest from contractors to deliver the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) scope of works for the Kangwinan Project. Scope The scope includes: Provision of detailed design engineering services for the process control system and process control network, delivered from the Company's project office in Brisbane or such other locations as required by the Company Implementation of the site wide Process Control System (PCS) and Safety Instrumented System (SIS), including hardware and software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), networking equipment and the SCADA system Supply of PLC cabinets and communications cabinets for electrical switch rooms and outdoor motor control centres (MCCs) Programming and planning of the works to meet the approved program Design, programming, configuration, engineering and factory testing to deliver the control systems hardware and software Supply of goods including servers, communication cabinets, workstations, and networking equipment Provision of engineering services for off-Site and on-Site factory acceptance testing, pre-operational testing and commissioning support Provision of operations and maintenance training services Provision of functional safety engineers to manage and execute all functional safety assessments, designs, calculations, implementation, verification, validation, testing and commissioning requirements, including allowance for independent Functional Safety Assessment to satisfy machine safety standards Provision of all management, supervision, labour, tools, consumables, operating supplies, plant and equipment, materials, incidentals, specified equipment and furnishings, and performance of all necessary operations required for the scope of works Contractor Requirements Compliance with all applicable Rio Tinto Standards, Australian and local regulations, statutory requirements, and Australian codes and standards as specified in the detailed scope of work provided to Bid participants Expressions of interest are sought from Contractors who can complete the whole scope of works; expressions of interest may be submitted for all or part of the scope of works described Local and Indigenous businesses are encouraged to participate Information Requested Interested parties should submit the following: A Company Capability Statement Details specific to capability and experience (as per the table provided) A list of similar major projects completed or in progress, detailing the required operational safety standards
