In General, the following areas and items are being refurbished: Kitchen Bathroom Toilet Laundry Floor Coverings Internal & External Painting Electrical fixtures, lighting and ceiling fans Safety audit items The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) provide essential health services across a network of remote and regional community sites throughout Far North Queensland. As part of its ongoing commitment to staff wellbeing, safety, and operational effectiveness, TCHHS maintains a portfolio of staff accommodation facilities that support the attraction and retention of clinical and operational personnel in these communities. This project involves the refurbishment of existing staff accommodation buildings to address identified maintenance, compliance, and functionality issues. The works aim to improve the condition, safety, and liveability of the facilities, ensuring they meet contemporary standards, support workforce sustainability, and align with TCHHS operational and asset management requirements. The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) Capital Works team (CW) proposes to undertake a procurement process to engage a Principal Contractor for two (2) House Refurbishments to Staff Accommodation in Hope Vale.
