Overview QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute invites suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit an Offer for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training associated with two (2) Laboratory Autoclaves. The autoclaves will be utilised as part of QIMR Berghofer's ongoing laboratory operations and will primarily be used for the sterilisation and treatment of laboratory equipment, consumables, and biological waste. Purpose The purpose of this Invitation to Offer (ITO) is to source two (2) Laboratory Autoclaves that meet the operational, safety, and compliance requirements of QIMR Berghofer's PC3 laboratory environment. Scope The successful supplier will be responsible for providing a complete turnkey solution, including all costs associated with: Supply of two (2) laboratory autoclaves Freight and transportation to site Delivery and handling Installation and commissioning Validation and testing Integration with existing services where required Operator and maintenance training Provision of user manuals and technical documentation Warranty and ongoing support services Equipment Requirements The proposed autoclaves should: Be designed for laboratory and research applications Be suitable for sterilisation of laboratory equipment, glassware, instruments, consumables, and biological waste Meet all relevant Australian Standards and applicable regulatory requirements Include programmable sterilisation cycles and data recording capabilities Incorporate user-friendly control interfaces Provide appropriate safety interlocks and operator protection features Be constructed from materials suitable for laboratory environments with high durability and corrosion resistance Include maintenance and servicing requirements as part of the proposal Contractor Requirements Suppliers should ensure that proposed equipment is suitable for installation and operation within a PC3 facility and identify any site requirements necessary for installation Tender Briefing and Site Inspection All organisations planning to submit a response must attend the Site Visit and briefing.
