What the buyer is requesting Details Cook Shire Council (the Principal) invites Tenders from suitably qualified Tenderers for appointment as a preferred supplier for the inspection and maintenance of lifting and height safety equipment as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope. It is estimated that the period of the arrangement will be for two (2) years with the option to extend the contract for a further two (2) periods of twelve (12) months each, at Council’s sole discretion. Could you please clarify if only items in referred report "Lifting_Rigging_Height_Equipment_Inspection" which is round slings inspection only or if tender scope includes anchor bolts, ladder, swift lift inspections (type/amount/locations)? A portion are presently recorded as unlocated, so the number physically presented may be lower — please quote on a per-item-presented basis plus a fixed mobilisation/travel component: - Height safety PPE (harnesses, lanyards, SRLs, rope grabs, anchor straps, tripods, rescue/retrieval kits) – 85 - Engineered height safety systems (fixed anchor points, vertical/horizontal static lines) – 149 - Lifting equipment (chain/lever blocks, winches, jibs, spreader bars, lifting frames, clamps, cages, swift-lift inserts) – 101 - Synthetic slings (round and flat webbing) – 66 - Ladders – 7 Equipment is located across multiple sites including the Cooktown depot/workshop, water and sewage treatment plants, pump stations, Council Chambers, the events centre, the swimming pool and Coen.
