Overview Blackall-Tambo Regional Council is seeking quotations from suppliers for the supply of coldmix asphalt for use on the council's sealed road network. Scope The scope includes: Supply of coldmix asphalt in accordance with Department of Transport and Main Roads Specifications (MRTS02, MRTS12, MRTS21, MRTS30) Delivery of coldmix asphalt in bulk via truck only, with no other forms of delivery or packaging accepted Delivery to multiple locations within the Blackall-Tambo Regional Council sealed road network on request throughout FY2026-2027, with delivery dates to be confirmed in advance by the BTRC Works Supervisor Contractor Requirements Material must meet the testing requirements outlined in the Department of Transport and Main Roads Specifications, including Materials/Mix Design (1/source/year), Maximum Density of Asphalt Q307 (200t/source/year to 4/source/year), and Bitumen Content and Aggregate Grading of Asphalt Q308A or Q308C (200t/source/year to 4/source/year) Testing requirements apply to cumulative quantities used throughout the contract, not to specific Work Order quantities; where a Work Order quantity does not reach the required testing frequency, it must be aggregated with other Work Order quantities from the same supply source until the cumulative total reaches the specified figure for testing, with Work Order quantities able to be recorded on a material testing register Contract Terms and Conditions Quoted rates must include allowances for any assumed extra costs for the works The lowest or any quotation may not necessarily be accepted The quotation price is fixed, and no increase will be sought or imposed on Blackall-Tambo Regional Council, except as a variation approved by Council as outlined in the notes on the tender document
