About this tender
The provision of security and emergency management services is essential to ensuring that Queensland University of Technology (QUT) campuses operate safely, securely, and with minimal disruption. QUT is seeking proposals from Suppliers that meet all mandatory criteria outlined below: Mandatory Experience and Capability Requirements: Demonstrated delivery of a minimum 60 officer, 24/7 security operation for at least three (3) consecutive years within Queensland during the past five (5) years. Ability to provide two referees from clients with operational requirements of a comparable scale to QUT. Ability to deliver all guarding services directly, with no subcontracting or outsourcing. Mandatory Evidence of Systems and Compliance Suppliers must provide evidence of: Rostering and scheduling systems capable of managing high volume, multi site deployments. Workforce management systems covering availability, leave, training, and certification tracking. Industrial relations frameworks and/or enterprise agreements suitable for large scale operations. A valid Queensland Labour Hire Licence. A valid Security Firm Licence. The contract term is six (6) years commencing 1 January 2026, with an optional three (3) year extension at QUT’s discretion. QUT operates two major campuses—Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove—where core services will be delivered daily. Additional QUT sites and facilities will require scheduled and ad hoc mobile patrol services. QTender has the following limitations when uploading submission responses: Total of no greater than 50 files and 100mb per upload File names should contain only Alphanumeric characters and be short and succinct.
