What the buyer is requesting Details Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor/s to collect and recycle scrap metal waste received at its Waste Management Facilities (WMF’s) and Council Depots (CD’s) for a period of two (2) years (with possible extensions of 2 x 12 months. Scrap metal waste includes all ferrous and non-ferrous metal items, excluding electronic waste. The Council Depots will require the supply of bins at their 3 depots to be provided for Ferrous Metal only. The aim of the contract is to establish a service to support Council’s broader resource recovery goals, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce safety risks associated with on-site stockpiling.
