About this tender
Overview Southern Cross University proposes to undertake the renewal of its Gold Coast Campus and is seeking a Consultant to provide an integrated civil and structural engineering commission to support the planning, design and delivery of the Project. Purpose The commission is intended to support the planning, design and delivery of the Project, ensuring civil and structural requirements, constraints and opportunities are appropriately considered and integrated into the Master Plan and subsequent design development. The Consultant will also define the technical and performance requirements necessary to achieve Design and Construct (D&C) procurement readiness and provide SCU with a clear basis for subsequent design and delivery of the Project. Scope The scope includes: Provision of an integrated civil and structural engineering commission for the Project Working closely with the Project Manager, Architect and all Other Consultants to ensure civil and structural requirements, constraints and opportunities are considered and integrated into the Master Plan and subsequent design development Assessing existing structural conditions, site infrastructure and civil constraints Informing the assessment and development of Master Plan options Developing practical and buildable engineering solutions through Concept Design Identifying any required structural interventions, civil works, enabling works or infrastructure upgrades Defining the technical and performance requirements necessary to achieve D&C procurement readiness
