About this tender
Overview The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of landscaping and civil works as part of an Asbestos Mitigation Project (Stage 2) at Grovely State School, located at 200 Dawson Parade, Keperra QLD 4054, under the Repair & Replacement (R&R) program. Scope The scope includes: Design and construction of landscaping and civil works across three locations within the school site Formal playground landscaping elements Nature play landscaping elements Tiered sandstone landscaped seating The works are located at the front of the school, where site access and working space are limited. All works are to be completed by the start of Term 1 2027. Contractor Requirements Appropriate QBCC Builder's licence to undertake the entire scope of works, with a minimum of a QBCC (Structural Landscaping) builder's licence anticipated to be required Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 million, held in accordance with the contract Minimum PQC Level 2 eligibility required Appropriate registration under the Queensland Government's PQC System for the stated PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited; the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider, or accept a tender from a tenderer who is not so registered Contract Terms and Conditions All works are to be completed by the start of Term 1 2027 Instructions to Tenderers Contractors wishing to obtain tender documentation should contact Peter Millatt, Project Manager, on peter@honeywill.com.au with their company details. Tender documentation will then be emailed to contractors. Details of the site inspection will be advised in the email and letters to tenderers. Submissions close on 29/09/2026 at 3:00pm and must be lodged via email to tenders@honeywill.com.au
