About this tender
Overview Alexandrina Council is seeking a suitably qualified organisation to coordinate volunteer bush regeneration activities and provide ecological support services across nominated conservation reserves. About Alexandrina Council manages a network of conservation reserves, remnant vegetation and other ecologically significant sites that require ongoing ecological management to improve biodiversity outcomes, control environmental weeds and support the region's flora and fauna habitat conservation. Purpose This service reflects Council's commitment to sustainable environmental management, biodiversity conservation and fostering community involvement in the protection and restoration of the region's natural environments. Scope The scope includes: Coordination of volunteer bush regeneration activities across nominated conservation reserves Provision of ecological support services across nominated conservation reserves Community engagement and volunteer participation to support conservation outcomes Ecological stewardship and application of best-practice bush regeneration techniques Delivery of services in accordance with the specifications outlined in the RFQ documentation Contract Terms and Conditions Council will enter into an Agreement for Services with the successful Respondent. The agreement will initially be for 1 year, with the option to renew for a further 3 years on annual review, at the discretion of Council.
