Overview The South Australian Housing Trust is seeking commercial accommodation businesses for an Emergency Accommodation Suppliers Panel. Scope The scope includes: Provision of emergency accommodation as a short-term intervention for clients experiencing a housing crisis, including circumstances such as homelessness, domestic and family violence, or other critical life events Delivery of accommodation to clients typically referred through Specialist Homelessness Services, including gateway providers, Homeless Connect SA, and the Domestic Violence Crisis Line Provision of accommodation and any extensions in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines, subject to approval Delivery of services to clients experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, as well as those facing complex disadvantage, including people affected by domestic and family violence and those requiring urgent accommodation support due to crisis situations, noting clients do not need to be a former, current, or prospective tenant of the South Australian Housing Trust to be eligible Capability to support a broader cohort of clients experiencing housing instability, in addition to clients meeting the Australian Bureau of Statistics definition of homelessness Objectives The objectives of this service are to: Provide safe, suitable and timely emergency accommodation Support clients experiencing housing crisis Ensure continuity of care for clients Enable efficient transition to longer-term housing solutions where possible Contractor Requirements The Supplier must: Treat all clients with dignity, respect, fairness and without discrimination Ensure all Supplier Personnel behave in a professional, courteous and respectful manner at all times, noting that rude, indifferent, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour is unacceptable Respect and protect client privacy and confidentiality at all times and not disclose information relating to a client except where authorised by the client, required for service delivery, authorised by the South Australian Housing Trust or an EA Provider, or otherwise required by law Cooperate with EA Providers, support services and authorised representatives to support client wellbeing and service delivery Establish, maintain and implement procedures for the effective handling of complaints and ensure all complaints are managed fairly, promptly and reasonably Contract Terms and Conditions It is intended to establish a Panel Contract with preferred suppliers for the provision of emergency accommodation for a maximum contract term of six (6) years The contract term consists of an initial term of three (3) years with the option to extend by three (3) additional one (1) year periods Enquiries Contact: Rachel Lindner Email: tenders@procurementpartners.com.au
