Overview The District Council of Yankalilla invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the upgrade of the Myponga Beach Bridge, located on Myponga Beach Road, Myponga. Scope The project involves structural remediation and strengthening works to the existing single-lane timber bridge to improve its structural integrity, extend its operational life and reduce ongoing maintenance requirements. The scope includes: Strengthening and repair of nominated bridge components Remediation of defective timber elements Traffic management Environmental protection measures All associated temporary works required to safely complete the project Supply of all labour, plant, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, certification and incidentals necessary to achieve Practical Completion of the Works Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in structural bridge remediation and strengthening works Ability to deliver the Works in accordance with the Contract Documents, relevant standards and statutory requirements Ability to minimise disruption to road users and manage environmental impacts associated with the site
