PROJECT OVERVIEW The Department for Energy and Mining (DEM) seeks a supplier to deliver Soft Facility Management Services, as required by DEM across a range of DEM properties. The objective is to deliver quality Soft FM services in a safe, legally compliant, that support DEM’s operations, asset presentation, and occupant satisfaction. KEY REQUIREMENTS - DELIVERABLES The Supplier will provide Soft FM services, as required by DEM at its following properties: SA Drill Core Library, 5 Tonsley Bvld, Tonsley SA Thebarton Precinct, 25 West Thebarton Rd, Thebarton SA Port Augusta Office, 40 Flinders Tce, Port Augusta SA The Supplier will familiarise itself with each site’s operational requirements, access constraints, hours of operation, and environmental conditions. A list of the services and associated frequencies is outlined in 1.5 “Facilities Map and Services”. The frequency and scope of services may be varied, added to, or removed as required. Soft FM services include but are not limited to: Cleaning Services Cleaning sinks, basins, and kitchen facilities Cleaning and sanitising toilet blocks, including waste removal Waste and recycling collection and disposal Periodic carpet cleaning services Internal and external window cleaning Windowsills, eaves and framework Security Services Security patrols when required Provision of licensed security officers when required Incident response and reporting Grounds and Environmental Services Landscaping and garden maintenance Lawn and vegetation management Litter collection and cleanliness of external areas Upkeep of entry points and external common areas Pest Control Services Routine pest inspections Preventative pest control measures Targeted treatments as required Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Site-Specific Operating Requirements including: Compliance with all site-specific health and safety requirements, including completion of any required inductions and adherence to site access protocols.
