Traffic Management Services

The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) is seeking to establish a new Panel of suppliers of Traffic Management Services to meet the requirements of SATC owned and managed events. The new Panel will replace the previous Panel which expired last year. SATC own and manage various events throughout the year, some examples are, Tour Down Under, Christmas Pageant and Tasting Australia. As SATC introduce new events their traffic management service requirements will be included under the scope of the Panel. The panel provides SATC: A selection of prequalified suppliers who have been assessed and found to have the capability and capacity to deliver both quality equipment and people at competitive rates; and The ability to mobilise quickly to satisfy the event’s implementation plan. The current panel commenced on 30 June 2024 and is expiring 30 June 2027. It has an option to extend for a further two (2) years at SATC discretion. New suppliers wishing to join the Panel, noting the base term will expire 30 June 2027 will be required to meet the same evaluation criteria. Following establishment of new suppliers on the current Panel, a secondary procurement process will be undertaken with Panel members. The secondary procurement process will request Panel members respond to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a specific SATC event. Following evaluation of the RFQ responses, the successful supplier will be issued a Work Order to engage their services. It should be noted: Panel members are not guaranteed a minimum level of work. Selection of suppliers, invited to participate in a secondary procurement process, will be based on a supplier’s expertise and appropriateness for the specific event, as assessed by SATC. The secondary procurement process RFQ will require suppliers to provide a response to the SATC service brief within seven (7) days.
