About this tender
Overview Alexandrina Council and the City of Victor Harbor (the Councils) are inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced tenderers for the provision of roadside grass slashing services. Objectives The objective is to engage a contractor capable of delivering roadside grass slashing services that: Reduce roadside fuel loads in support of Council's Bushfire Prevention Program Maintain safe sight distances for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians Protect Council infrastructure and roadside assets Preserve native vegetation and environmentally significant roadside corridors Minimise disturbance to adjoining landowners and road users Comply with relevant legislation, Codes of Practice and industry standards Provide value for money through efficient service delivery Deliver continuous improvement in roadside vegetation management outcomes Scope The scope includes: Provision of roadside grass slashing services Delivery of the services in accordance with the requirements, conditions and specifications set out in Section D, Specifications, including technical specifications and the specific requirements of each Council Contract Terms and Conditions Both Councils will enter into separate individual Agreements for Services with the successful tenderer Enquiries Contact: Ross Whitfield, Technical Phone: +61 (08) 85557000 Email: alex@alexandrina.sa.gov.au
