The role sits within the Strategic Communications and Engagement Group, which is responsible for providing strategic direction and professional advice on a range of communication activities, including media liaison, communication strategies and campaigns, social media, advertising, internal communication, stakeholder engagement, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement, event management, publications, graphic design and digital production. The Role Reporting to the Director Content and Design, the Senior Web Developer role combines proven technical ability in the development and maintenance of Drupal websites with a strong understanding of Australian government operating environments, including a best practice approach to security, performance and accessibility. Working within a small web team, the Senior Web Developer contributes to increased capability across their work area and demonstrates strong communication skills, working effectively with key stakeholders to translate their problems into tangible results.
