About this tender

PAT-2526-3978. St Leonards Pier Rebuild. The St Leonards Pier Redevelopment Project involves the demolition and replacement of the St Leonards Pier. The St Leonard Pier, which was first built in 1857 and most recently rebuilt in 1987, is coming to the end of its serviceable life and will be fully demolished as part of the works. The new pier will be rebuilt on a parallel alignment to the existing pier. The new pier will feature: - A larger footprint. The new pier’s footprint will be larger than the existing pier, providing more space for community use. - A new low landing with all abilities access, short-term public berthing and access stairs into the water for scuba divers and snorkelers. - A lengthened finger jetty, in order to enhance fishing and recreational opportunities. - A widened pier entry and upgrade of the pier interface around the Sirens Boathouse and Kiosk. - Public facilities including seating, fishing rod holders, lighting, and interpretive signage will be provided along the pier structure.
