About this tender
Overview The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors to supply, install and commission a full LED lighting, digital control and lighting bar renewal across Cinema 1 and Cinema 2 at ACMI, Federation Square. About The works will replace end-of-life lighting, control, dimming, cabling, hoist and bar management systems originally installed when the building opened in 2002. Scope The scope includes: Supply, installation and commissioning of new LED house, profile and Fresnel-type fixtures across both cinemas Installation of digital lighting control, including staff-friendly wall panels and Bio Box manual takeover Conversion of Bio Box lighting to DALI control Replacement of chain hoists and energy chains across six lighting bars Rebuilding of dimmer cupboard infrastructure Installation of new power, DMX and data cabling Emergency lighting works Testing, commissioning and certification of the installed systems Provision of training and handover documentation Information Requested Submissions should demonstrate a clear methodology for: Access and working at height Protection of fixed seating and finishes Safety compliance Defect rectification Coordination with ACMI staff and site requirements Contract Terms and Conditions Works must be delivered in a live public venue around programming commitments ACMI intends to sequence the works during a reduced programming period, within a December to January delivery window
