About this tender
Overview South Gippsland Water is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Toora Water Treatment Plant Disinfection Safety Improvements Project. Scope The project includes, but is not limited to: Repurposing the existing chlorine gas disinfection room to accommodate bulk sodium hypochlorite storage and dosing facilities Decommissioning and removal of the existing chlorine gas disinfection system Supply and installation of a new sodium hypochlorite bulk storage tank Installation of associated sodium hypochlorite delivery, transfer and dosing infrastructure Associated electrical, control, instrumentation, safety and ancillary works required to deliver a complete and operational disinfection system Instructions to Tenderers Tenderers are required to review the full Scope of Work, technical specifications, Functional Design Report, drawings and associated tender documentation available through the tender portal. All tender enquiries are to be submitted through the online tender forum or directed to the nominated Project Manager in accordance with the tender conditions. Completed tender submissions must be submitted electronically via the Electronic Tender Box by the specified closing date and time. Respondents will receive an electronic receipt confirming the date and time of their submission. Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A briefing session and tenderers site visit will be held as follows: Date: 1 September 2026 Time: 10:30 am Location: 45 Mill St, Toora, Victoria, Australia, 3962 Registration closes: 31 August 2026, 05:00 pm All personnel attending the site must wear the following minimum PPE: high-visibility safety vest or high-visibility shirt, safety boots, long-sleeved shirt, and long pants. A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid. Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
