Overview Gippsland Water is seeking a contractor for a Major Works Contract for the construction of a water main extension at Drouin West. Scope The scope includes: Supply, installation and commissioning of OD450 PE, OD400PE and DN375PVC pipework, fittings and ancillaries in accordance with the Drawings provided in Schedule 5 Part C, Drawings Supply and installation of all required air and scour valves Provision of construction plant and temporary works Commissioning of the completed works Rectification of any remedial works and replacement of any defective works during the specified defects liability period Contract Terms and Conditions The Contract Sum is full compensation for the complete construction of the works, including construction plant, temporary works, commissioning, defects and liability for the works for the specified period, any remedial works and replacement of defective works Extra monies will be paid only for work undertaken in accordance with Variation Orders issued in writing by the Superintendent The Contract Sum is not subject to Rise and Fall or Price Variation, nor is it subject to variation due to changes in foreign exchange rates Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A non-mandatory but highly recommended site information briefing (GW591 Drouin West Water Main) will be held at the Drouin West Clarkes Road basin site, at approximate chainage 2376.00 of drawing A1-76862, between Hearn St and Princess Way, Drouin, Victoria.
