About this tender

Overview Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers to deliver animal management services, including statutory pound services and integrated shelter and rehoming services, within Stonnington's municipal boundaries. Scope The scope includes: Statutory pound services in accordance with the Act and the Code of Practice, including receiving, identifying, impounding, and caring for all seized, surrendered, and found dogs and cats within Stonnington's municipal boundaries Shelter and rehoming services, including behavioural and veterinary assessment, foster care coordination, adoption programs, and post-adoption support, delivered as a continuous and integrated operation with pound services Accountability for the welfare pathway and final outcome of every animal received, including those transferred to rescue or foster care partners After-hours emergency response and on-call capability for seized animals Responsible pet ownership and community education programs, consistent with Council's DAMP Reporting and data provision to Council and to Animal Welfare Victoria in accordance with the mandatory reporting framework under the Act Management of Council's 84Y agreements, or establishment of equivalent arrangements, to support post-statutory transfer to rescue and foster partners Instructions to Tenderers The Vendor Panel online forum closes five business days prior to the tender closing date. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any Tender, or part thereof. Tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.
