To build a new fire station at 99-107 Lygon Drive, Craigieburn, VIC 3064 to replace the old no longer fit for purpose station at 2 Belsay Place, Craigieburn, VIC 3064. The new facility will be a 3-appliance bay station with 14 rest and recline spaces, and 32 carparks. The new fire station will include but not limited to the following facilities: Three appliance bays 14 rest and recline rooms, including 7 ensuites Kitchen, muti purpose room, mess room and gym facilities Clean PPE room Communications room Station office Laundry facilities, including a clean laundry room Equipment rooms Outdoor area including built-in BBQ area External sheds and storage rooms. The scope of works includes: Ground works including benching to prepare the current greenfield site. Construction of a new single-storey fire station and associated outbuildings. Delivery of external infrastructure, including car parking, driveways, boundary fencing, access gates, and reinstatement of crossovers, footpaths, and nature strips. Completion of all necessary site preparation works, including bulk excavation, on-site water treatment and retention, soil testing for disposal, and installation of safety hoardings in accordance with local authority requirements. Installation of all building services, including mechanical, hydraulic, fire protection, electrical, communications, and security systems. Supply and installation of all nominated fittings and fixtures, including coordination of required in-wall supports for principal-supplied items.
