Scope Design and construction of disinfection upgrades at Shepparton Water Treatment Plant Contractor Requirements All Goulburn Valley Water contractors tendering for work totalling $100,000 or more must have a third party certified safety system, for example AS/NZS 4801:2018 Mandatory Criteria (Clause 15) Supplier Code of Conduct checks, insurance and financial standing Management systems: environmental, OHS, quality Industrial relations management Compliance with a 3rd party accredited OHS management system Fair Jobs Code Pre-Assessment Certificate Fair Jobs Code Plan (required for contracts of $20M + GST or more) Weighted Evaluation Criteria Value for money, price: 20% Value for money, delivery ability and approach: 25% Past performance: 25% Local Jobs First: Industry Development: 10% Local Jobs First: Job Outcomes: 10% SPF Building Equality Policy (BEP): 10% Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A compulsory tender briefing and site inspection with representatives of the Corporation is required (Clause 5, Inspection of Site). Attendance at both the briefing and the site inspection is a prerequisite to submission and consideration of a bid. Location: 174-194 Welsford Street, Shepparton (Shepparton WTP) Date and Time: Thursday 24 September 2026, 10:00am Registration closes: 23 September 2026, 5:00pm Companies must email their intent to attend the site inspection, including proposed attendees, by Wednesday 23 September 2024 at 2:00pm, to tenders.contracts@gvwater.vic.gov.au. All contractors visiting GVW sites must wear long sleeve shirts, long trousers, hats, hi-vis vests or similar, and foot protection. Tenderers unable to attend at the specified time should contact the nominated person for tender enquiries. Any alternative inspection arrangement is at GVW's discretion. Instructions to Tenderers Tenderers must understand and action the Tender Booklet Annexure B Particulars as a minimum, including Clause 5 (Inspection of Site) and Clause 15 (Selection Criteria). The Tender Form Table sets out all the Tender Booklet returnable schedules (unless otherwise stated) and aligns them to the Mandatory and Weighted Evaluation Selection Criteria.
