Overview The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is seeking information from the market regarding digital approaches for the delivery of VCE and VPC results and related credentials directly to students. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather market insights on available solutions, service models, credential management, verification, integration, security and implementation approaches to inform future planning and potential procurement activities. At this stage, VCAA is seeking market information about possible platform, software, service, and/or implementation support options that may be capable of supporting digital results delivery and credential management in a Victorian senior secondary education context. Purpose This RFI is being conducted to: Understand the digital capabilities and service models currently available in the market Identify functional options and delivery approaches relevant to VCAA's requirements Explore credential issuance, access, sharing and verification capabilities Understand implementation considerations, risks, support models and indicative commercial approaches Inform planning and the potential development of a future procurement process, which may include a formal Request for Tender (RFT) This RFI is intended to support an early market scan only. It is not seeking detailed proposals, formal offers or committed pricing. This RFI is being undertaken for information-gathering purposes only. No contract, purchase, implementation engagement or other work will be awarded as a result of this RFI. Should VCAA decide to proceed further, any procurement of goods and/or services will be conducted through a separate market engagement process. Participation in this RFI will not be a prerequisite for, or provide any advantage in, any future procurement process. Scope VCAA is exploring opportunities to modernise the current results distribution model through a secure, accessible and efficient digital solution that enables results and credentials to be accessible or delivered directly to students. Objectives Responses will be used to: Inform VCAA's understanding of the current market Help refine business and technical requirements Identify risks, dependencies and delivery considerations Support internal planning and decision-making regarding possible next steps Information Requested The VCAA invites suppliers and other market participants to provide high-level information on relevant capabilities, approaches and experience.
