What the buyer is requesting Details Swan Hill Rural City Council invites tender submissions for the housing development at 49 Herbert Street, Robinvale Vic 3549. The project involves constructing two (2) residential dwellings (each comprising three bedrooms and a carport), as well as associated works (including Civil Works and Landscape Works) in accordance with: - the Specifications (Part B of the tender documents); - the General Conditions of Contract including Special Conditions (Part C), - the plans and drawings (Part D), - Planning Permit conditions (Cl.4.3) and all relevant legislations/regulations and relevant Australian Standards. The preferred construction method is modular-build, however, Council will also consider proposals for in-situ construction, provided the delivered quality aligns with Council’s specifications and relevant standards, and the project is completed within the agreed timeframe. This project is divided into three (3) separable portions: - Separable Portion 1: DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT TWO (2) RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS - Separable Portion 2: CIVIL WORKS - Separable Portion 3: LANDSCAPING WORKS Tenderers may submit offers for one or more separable portions. Council reserves the right to award these portions either individually or collectively to one or more contractors. The Swan Hill Housing Summit and Economic Development Plan have identified a significant housing shortage in the region, indicating the need for at least 60 key worker accommodation beds in Robinvale. In addition, key stakeholders have emphasised the lack of available rental properties and suitable accommodation. With support of state/federal funding, there is a clear intention to address this gap through the construction of two new residential dwellings.
