Overview The Department of Defence is seeking a contractor to provide sustainment support services for the Royal Australian Navy School of Survivability and Ship's Safety South (RAN SSSS-South) under the Royal Australian Navy School of Survivability and Ship Safety South Sustainment Support Contract. About Training Authority Maritime Warfare (TA-MW) is the principal warfare training authority of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). TA-MW comprises several schools which provide warfare training for all rank levels from Seaman to Captain via a wide variety of courses ranging from one week to one year. These courses vary from basic operator training to advanced warfare training (procedural and tactical). RAN SSSS-South is one of three Damage Control Schools within the RAN that sits under TA-MW. RAN SSSS-South delivers damage control and survivability training to personnel of all ranks, from Seaman through to Captain, across a wide range of short-duration courses. These courses cover basic and advanced damage control competencies, as well as specialist maintenance-related training. Scope The scope includes: Establishing, implementing, and conducting sound engineering maintenance practices for key training aids located at RAN SSSS-South, HMAS Cerberus Applying Planned Maintenance (PM) methodologies to the key training aids Applying Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) methodologies to the key training aids Enquiries Contact: Deputy Director Contracts and Commercial Email: trainingforce.contracts@defence.gov.au
