About this tender
Council is in the process of planning its household kerbside transition to a four-bin system as required by the Victorian Government. Based on the current draft Household Waste and Recycling Service Standards (2024), this is to commence from 1 July 2027. Council is seeking supply and delivery of bulk quantities of bins of various sizes, FOGO bin caddies, liners, and educational material, to single-unit dwelling (SUDs) and multi-unit developments (MUDs) within Whitehorse. suitably qualified and experienced provider is sought to: 1. Supply and deliver lime-green-lid FOGO bins, FOGO bin caddies and liners to SUDs and MUDs by 1 July 2027. 2. Supply and deliver purple-lid glass bins to SUDs and MUDs by 1 July 2027, subject to Council approval to provide this service. 3. Supply and deliver bins and caddy packs over the specified timeframe, deliver ad-hoc bins and caddy packs post rollout and deliver any excess to JJs Waste and Recycling (Council’s current kerbside collection Contractor). 4. Provide a cost-effective and high-quality product and service to Councils residents. This includes customer service that is compliant with the relevant standards, policies and guidelines. 5.
