About this tender

Ambulance Victoria (AV), are an agency of the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), is the statutory provider of pre-hospital emergency health care and ambulance transport, non-urgent patient transport services for all members of the community as well as providing telehealth advice and support drawing upon our clinical expertise. AV provides emergency medical response to more than 6 million people across the State of Victoria with AV’s operational area being serviced by strategically placed Ambulance branches. These branches serve all people across 227,000 square kilometres of the State of Victoria. AV also operates an Air Ambulance and Adult Retrieval service who move some of the sickest patients across the state, with locations based at Essendon Airport, Bendigo, Latrobe Valley and Warrnambool. Scope of Services Ambulance Victoria (AV) will be seeking a supplier to provide services that include supplying a lightweight folding wheelchair (multipurpose chair (MPC)) to replace and upgrade its current folding wheelchairs, with the addition of a stair descender mechanism, plus repairs and maintenance when required.
