About this tender
Overview The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit a tender for the provision of continence, wound care and nutritional products. About The TAC's role is to promote road safety and support those who have been injured on Victoria's roads by helping them get their lives back on track. Its purpose is to care for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria's roads. Guided by its Make Every Day Matter strategy, the TAC's key goals are: Safe to travel Best client outcomes High performing culture Scheme for now and the future Purpose Through this Request for Tender (RFT), the TAC seeks to establish a panel of one or more suppliers to provide a range of products to support the ongoing needs of TAC clients. The new arrangement will replace the current contract upon its expiry and ensure continuity of supply while supporting the TAC in meeting its obligations under the Transport Accident Act 1986 (Vic). Scope The scope includes: Supply of continence products to TAC clients Supply of wound care products to TAC clients Supply of nutritional products to TAC clients Associated delivery services for contracted and non-contracted products Contractor Requirements Tender submissions are invited from suppliers that can: Demonstrate the capacity and capability to supply high-quality continence, wound care and nutritional products to TAC clients Provide products that comply with all applicable Australian legislation, standards and regulatory requirements, including Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) registration where applicable Supply products throughout Victoria, with Victorian-based warehousing and/or demonstrated national distribution capabilities viewed favourably Offer competitive and value-for-money pricing for both contracted and non-contracted products, including associated delivery services Demonstrate robust inventory management, ordering and logistics systems that support reliable and timely delivery in accordance with specified service requirements Provide responsive customer service and effective support arrangements for clients and TAC representatives Provide efficient procurement, ordering and reporting systems that facilitate accurate transaction processing and performance monitoring Contract Terms and Conditions Contract term of 3 years plus two optional 2-year extensions Enquiries Contact: TAC Procurement (Enquiries) Email: procurement@tac.vic.gov.au
