VIDA Health Building Surveying Services Panel

Overview The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), through VIDA Health, is seeking to establish a multi-supplier panel of building surveying service providers to support the delivery of its current and future health infrastructure projects. About VIDA Health manages or supports the development of capital projects that enable the delivery of health services. Since 2 April 2024, VIDA Health has formed part of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA). https://bigbuild.vic.gov.au/about/vida The Panel will be available across VIDA, including Roads, Rail, Health and VIDA Services. Purpose VIDA Health requires building surveying services to support the delivery of its current and future health infrastructure projects. Objectives The panel will: Provide efficient access to pre-qualified suppliers Establish competitive and transparent rates Use standardised contractual terms, work orders and performance measures Support consistent service quality and value for money Provide alternative suppliers where capacity constraints or conflicts of interest arise Scope The scope includes the provision of building surveying services under two service types: Building Surveying Consultant (BSC) Engagement as a subconsultant during the project development process Provision of design advice during the master planning and feasibility phases to help ensure designs comply with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and other applicable laws in an efficient and cost-effective manner BSC services do not include performing the statutory building surveying functions of the Relevant Building Surveyor.
