The Shire of Mundaring is giving advance notice of the upcoming procurement for the significant Mundaring Cultural Hub Building Construction. Suitably qualified and experienced contractors will be invited to deliver the Mundaring Cultural Hub Building which is a 3,100sqm multi-purpose facility that co-locates key community services including the Mundaring Library, Arts Centre, Museum, and Visitors Centre. This project has just received final investment approval of the Business Case and is the cornerstone for the broader Mundaring Town Revitalisation Precinct, located at 3185 Jacoby Street, Mundaring WA 6073. The Shire will commence the procurement process with an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be advertised on or around 13 July 2026. Shortlisting will occur under this EOI and the Shire will then undertake a Request For Tender with the shortlisted proponents in Early October 2026. The project will be procured under a Design Finalisation and Construct (DF&C) delivery model, scope includes design finalisation up to IFC, demolition, construction, services coordination, commissioning, and handover.
