Overview The Department of Housing and Works (WA) is seeking a contractor to carry out an air conditioning upgrade at Leonora District High School on behalf of the Department of Education, as part of the Cool the Schools program. Scope The scope includes: Pre-Start Works, All Areas Submission of a program of works to the superintendent for approval upon award of contract, including equipment procurement and lead times, shop drawings issued for approval, and a breakdown of works for each plant or room being worked on, including estimated down times Completion of a dilapidation report for all areas where work is being completed Offices Decommissioning, removal and disposal of two fan coil units and two associated condensing units located in the offices, with reclamation of refrigerant in accordance with EPA guidelines Removal of all associated pipework, electrical cabling, controls, and redundant pipework and cable supports Supply and installation of two wall mounted air conditioning systems within the existing offices, with condensing units installed at ground level on existing plinths or wall brackets, connected to the existing power isolators Library Block, Demolition Works Decommissioning, removal and disposal of five fan coil units and five associated condensing units located in the Library, with reclamation of R22 refrigerant in accordance with EPA guidelines Removal of all associated pipework, electrical cabling, controls, and redundant pipework and cable supports Removal of sections of ductwork as necessary to accommodate the new installation Decommissioning, removal and disposal of the existing toilet exhaust fan, general exhaust fan and outside air fan, including all associated electrical cabling, controls and redundant cable supports Removal of sections of ductwork as necessary to accommodate the new installation Library Block, New Works Supply and installation of two VRF/VRV systems with four under-ceiling fan coil units in the Library and a single wall mounted split system within the existing office, with condensing units installed at ground level on existing plinths, connected to the new power isolators provided by the electrician Supply and installation of a new toilet exhaust fan, general exhaust fan and outside air fan, and all nominated ductwork and filters, with controls for the new fans connected to the existing toilet and general exhaust, and the outside air fan interlocked with the air conditioning units in the Library Kindilink Classroom Decommissioning, removal and disposal of two fan coil units and two associated condensing units located in the classroom, with reclamation of refrigerant in accordance with EPA guidelines Removal of all associated outside air fan, ductwork, pipework, electrical cabling, controls and redundant pipework and cable supports Supply and installation of two wall mounted air conditioning systems within the existing classroom, with condensing units installed at ground level on existing plinths or wall brackets, connected to the new power isolators provided by the electrician Supply and installation of a new outside air fan and all nominated ductwork and filters, interlocked with the air conditioning units in the classroom D&T Workshop Decommissioning, removal and disposal of two fan coil units and two associated condensing units located in the workshop, with reclamation of refrigerant in accordance with EPA guidelines Removal of all associated pipework, electrical cabling, controls and redundant pipework and cable supports Supply and installation of two wall mounted air conditioning systems within the existing workshop, with condensing units installed at ground level on existing plinths or wall brackets, connected to the new power isolators provided by the electrician Supply and installation of a new outside air fan and all nominated ductwork and filters, interlocked with the air conditioning units in the workshop Food Store Decommissioning, removal and disposal of two room air conditioning units located in the Food Store, including removal of all associated electrical cabling Supply and installation of one wall mounted air conditioning system within the existing Food Store, with the condensing unit installed at ground level on new wall brackets, connected to the new power isolators provided by the electrician Contractor Requirements Builder pre-qualification is not applicable for this tender
