Overview The Rottnest Island Authority is seeking a contractor to refurbish and reconfigure the existing ablution facilities within the RIA Hub Office Building on Rottnest Island. Scope The scope includes: Provision of all labour, materials, plant, transport, supervision and coordination required to refurbish and reconfigure the existing Hub Ablution facilities Demolition works Structural modifications Building works Hydraulic services Electrical services Mechanical services Internal fit out Testing, commissioning and handover activities necessary to deliver a safe, compliant and operational facility Contractor Requirements All works must be completed in accordance with the Contract Drawings, Specifications, CDC approved documentation and all referenced Australian Standards No substitutions to nominated materials, fixtures, fittings or systems may be undertaken without prior written approval Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Tenderers must attend a mandatory site visit and briefing. Date: Monday 7 September 2026 Time: 8:45 am Location: RIA Hub Office Building, Henderson Avenue, Rottnest Island (behind the Dome café) Confirm attendance by: No later than 2:00 pm on 4 September 2026 via email to brett.walters@dbca.wa.gov.au Tenderers are required to pay all costs for transportation to and from Rottnest Island, and all arrangements for ferry travel are the tenderer's responsibility. Attendance at the Site Visit and Briefing is mandatory and is a pre-qualification requirement of this RFT. A tender submitted by a tenderer that does not attend the Site Visit and Briefing will be excluded from further consideration. Tenderers remain responsible for making their own assessment of the site and existing conditions, whether or not they were able to attend the Site Visit and Briefing.
