About this tender
Overview Legal Aid Commission of Western Australia (LAWA) proposes to enter into a Service Agreement for the delivery of Elder Rights WA (ERWA) outreach and assistance services in the Peel Region. About LAWA is an independent statutory authority and is the largest single provider of legal assistance services in Western Australia (WA). LAWA provides services in the areas of criminal, family and civil law across WA. Staff provide a range of services by phone, online and in person at external locations such as courts, prisons and hospitals, as well as at all LAWA office locations. ERWA is a specialist legal and social work service established in 2022 for older people experiencing or at risk of abuse or mistreatment, funded by the Department of Communities. It provides legal assistance, advocacy and support, and provides a holistic service to address interconnected legal, financial, family and social issues typically faced by clients.
