Overview The Department of Microbiology within PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA is seeking the provision of core molecular microbiology testing solutions to support diagnostic operations across multiple laboratory sites. About Molecular microbiology, focused on the study of microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses at the molecular level including their genetics, biochemistry and physiology, underpins these diagnostic services and is essential for delivering accurate, timely and high-quality testing outcomes across the network. This includes the primary laboratories located at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) and QEII Medical Centre (QEII), as well as smaller metropolitan and regional laboratories.
