The MCB is a State Government statutory authority appointed by and responsible to the Minister for Local Government; Disability Services; Volunteering; Youth; Gascoyne. The MCB manages seven (7) cemeteries and memorial park-sites throughout metropolitan Perth including Fremantle, Guildford, Karrakatta, Midland and Gnangara Aboriginal Cemeteries, Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, and Rockingham Regional Memorial Park. The MCB also participates in the management of East Rockingham Pioneer Cemetery. MCB provides sensitive and dignified facilities and services to meet the needs of the deceased and bereaved. These include Cremation, Burial, Entombment, Memorialisation and Chapel Services. MCB’s philosophy is to serve the public with integrity, compassion and connection. The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) is the primary provider of burial, cremation, and associated cemetery services in metropolitan Perth. The MCB is legislated by the following Acts and By-Laws including the Cremations Act 1929, Cremation Regulations 1954, Cemeteries Act 1986, and Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) By-Laws 1992, with its mission, vision and values detailed below: MCB’s Mission is to be a leader in cemetery management; delivering a caring and sensitive experience with burial, cremation and memorialisation services that reflect the Community’s values and beliefs. MCB’s Vision is to achieve excellence in the provision of quality cemetery facilities and services. The Board is entrusted to care for the personal memories of Western Australians and also to watch over and protect the rich social history of this state held within the cemeteries under our care. The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified, experienced and licensed organisation for the provision of Pest Control services for all MCB sites of Western Australia. Refer to Schedule 2 for full details of the Specification/Statement of Requirements. Site Visit: A site visit will be held at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, Padbury on 18 Jun, 2026 9:00 AM. Please refer to the Request for ALL mandatory site visit times, dates and locations. Respondents must attend all of the mandatory briefings listed below. Respondents must note that failure to attend ALL of the mandatory briefings will result in the Offer being ineligible for further consideration. Mandatory briefings for Respondents will be conducted at: Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park Date: Thursday, 18 June 2026 Time: 9:00am – 10:00am Location: Whitfords Avenue, Padbury (parking and meeting at compound office) Midland Cemetery Date: Thursday, 18 June 2026 Time: 10:30am – 10:45am Location: Myles Road, Swan View (meeting at main office) (meeting at Mausoleum carpark) Guildford Cemetery Date: Thursday, 18 June 2026 Time: 11:00am – 11:15am Location: Kalamunda Road, South Guildford (meeting at Mausoleum carpark) Karrakatta Cemetery Date: Thursday, 18 June 2026 Time: 12:30pm – 3:00pm Location: Railway Road, Karrakatta meeting at Reception Main Office Park in public car park on Railway Road Fremantle Cemetery Date: Friday, 19 June 2026 Time: 9:00am – 10:00am Location: Carrington Street, Palmyra (meeting & parking at Carrington Street Car Park, near cafe) Rockingham Regional Memorial Park Date: Friday, 19 June 2026 Time: 10:45am – 11:15am Location: Baldivis Road, Baldivis, Meet & park in main public car park adjacent to Administration Building. The Respondent is requested to confirm its attendance and the name(s) of its attendee(s) including their mobile phone number by no later than 4:00 PM (Perth time), Tuesday, 16 June 2026 by contacting Joanne Harfield via email, as per the details provided at 1.6 – Contact Persons, below. Note: We will be walking the grounds of each cemetery, so please wear appropriate footwear (specifically for Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park and Karrakatta Cemetery).
