About this tender

Overview The Western Australia Police Force is seeking to establish a single contractor or a panel of suitable contractors for the provision of Electronic Fingerprint Capture Capability. Purpose The procurement will support the WA Police Force's strategy to expand and modernise its existing electronic fingerprint capture fleet across Western Australia. Scope The provision is sought under two categories: Category 1: Increase on-site electronic fingerprint device fleet Category 2: Provide in-field electronic fingerprint mobile devices Respondents may nominate for one or both categories. Contractor Requirements Solutions must demonstrate interoperability with the National Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NAFIS / NAFIS NextGen) Solutions must comply with the published biometric standards of the American National Standards Institute/National Institute of Standards and Technology (ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2025) Instructions to Tenderers It is anticipated that the Request will be advertised and available for download from Tenders WA on 17 September 2026.
