Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), ICT Division is seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to work as part of a motivated multi-disciplinary team in a highly supportive environment. The Role Key duties and responsibilities include: Contributing across all phases of projects (Plan, Analyse, Design, Build and Test, and Go-Live) Partnering with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent solution delivery Working with business stakeholders to create user stories, refine the product backlog, and act as a liaison between business SMEs and the delivery team Maintaining the feature backlog in consultation with product owners and business SMEs Defining Product Backlog Items (PBIs), including acceptance criteria, and facilitating approval from relevant business stakeholders Supporting the delivery team in translating business needs and requirements into system specifications Facilitating workshops and consultation sessions to ensure business objectives are met and delivered features provide maximum business value Working closely with the project team to ensure DevOps items are managed to meet timeframes, timely development sprints are achieved, and defects are resolved Assisting product owners and SMEs with business verification and testing, including User Acceptance Testing Working in a fast-paced agile operating environment adopting delivery in sprints Creating and updating BA artefacts such as feature summary documentation, DevOps PBIs, process maps, and training materials
