Overview NSW Health will be inviting interested suppliers to participate in an upcoming open tender for the provision of Fixed Wing Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) Services on behalf of NSW Ambulance. This Advance Market Notice is issued by HealthShare NSW. Purpose This Advance Market Notice is provided to inform prospective tenderers of the proposed service model and to support market awareness ahead of the anticipated release of the Request for Tender (RFT). Scope The Fixed Wing NEPT Service forms part of the NSW Health patient transport services and is intended to support the transfer of eligible patients in accordance with the NSW Health Service Specification for Non-Emergency Transport Providers (PD2024_008). The proposed service model is anticipated to include: Provision of both fixed-wing air transport and road transport to move non-emergency patients to and from locations including a place of residence (a private dwelling), a nursing home or aged care facility, a rehabilitation unit, a hospice, a public or private hospital, or a correctional centre Provision of a dedicated fleet of five (5) aircraft operating from a minimum of two bases, one located within the Sydney Basin and a second regional location nominated by the tenderer Provision of a fleet of road vehicles to conduct road transport at various locations in NSW Supply of clinical crew for the road transport component by the successful tenderer, with the clinical crew for the air transport component provided by NSW Ambulance The information contained in this notice is indicative only and is subject to change.
