Overview Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified, licensed and experienced construction contractors for the installation of a new fire hydrant system at the Appin AIS Community Hall and the Appin Men's Shed, in accordance with the design package. Purpose The purpose of the works is to deliver a compliant and functional fire hydrant system to meet the requirements of NCC/BCA 2022 E1D2, AS 2419.1-2021, AS 3500.1-2021, and AS 2941-2013. Scope The scope includes: Supply and installation of a new DN100 fire hydrant system Civil works Mechanical and hydraulic works Electrical works Standards and compliance Testing, commissioning and certification Contractor Requirements Appropriately qualified, licensed and experienced in construction works Provide access at all times to the AIS Appin Community Hall, Men's Shed buildings, car park, netball courts, sportsfield and Appin mine memorial area, which will remain operational during the staging of works
